Danny Ávila, born on April 1, 1995, in Marbella, Spain, is a distinguished DJ and producer who has made significant contributions to the electronic music scene. His early exposure to music, influenced by his father José, a dentist, and his passion for wakeboarding, where he achieved notable rankings in national and international championships, shaped his dynamic approach to music.

Ávila’s journey into music began at the age of 12, and by 13, he was producing his own tracks. His first DJ set took place in 2010 at the renowned Spanish club Kapital. In 2011, at just 16 years old, he was honored as the Best Newcomer DJ at the Vicious Music Awards, marking the start of his rapid ascent in the industry.

Throughout his career, Danny Ávila has collaborated with industry titans such as Tiësto, Deniz Koyu, and Fedde Le Grand. His performances have graced major festivals and clubs worldwide, including a notable debut at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami in March 2013. That same year, he became the youngest resident DJ at Hakkasan in Las Vegas, sharing the stage with artists like Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Deadmau5, Tommy Trash, Tiësto, and Calvin Harris.

In 2021, Ávila introduced “Mainstage Techno,” a genre that blends the intensity of underground techno with the energy of mainstage performances. This innovative sound was premiered at Tomorrowland’s Around The World festival, showcasing his ability to evolve and adapt within the electronic music landscape.
